My husband and I have recently began using the Church’s Online Nursery Manual to prepare our Family Home Evening Lessons. The Manual which is entitled Behold Your Little Ones has 30 wonderful lessons that make it easy to teach the gospel to very young children. You can find many fun and simple activities and stories to help you teach along with tips on teaching the children.  It is so exciting for us to see our toddlers have an increased love for our Saviour and Heavenly Father and know that reading scriptures and praying are important.

This is a special temple for me. As a youth I would often pray that British Columbia would have a temple built and wonder if maybe I would get married in the future Vancouver Temple. However a year and a half after I got married (in the Salt Lake Temple) President Hinkley announced that a Temple would be built in Vancouver (actually it is Langley but temples usually go by the name of the main city in the area).

The temple construction recently passed the 50% completed mark. It is so exciting to see the progress. I sure do hope to be able to attend the Temple Dedication! Crossing the border to attend the Seattle Temple is difficult for many people so I am so excited that the people of British Columbia will be able to go to the temple without crossing the border.
